On March 3 2025, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) welcomed the Jiangxi University of Technology (JXUT) for an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony.

Initiated by Mr Man Cheuk Fei, Chief Executive Officer of Master Insight Media Limited, the JXUT delegation, led by its Vice-President Professor Lu Wenwei, was received by Professor Joshua Mok, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research); Professor Jeanne Fu, Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience); and Dr Ken Yau, Head of Global Affairs.

In light of the Education Bureau’s recent announcement regarding the progressive easing of the quota for self-financing institutions to admit Mainland students, both parties engaged in an in-depth discussion on the framework for cooperation in talent cultivation and academic exchange, aiming to integrate and pair educational resources to maximise students’ academic horizons.

The signing of the MoU marks a significant milestone in the joint development of HSUHK and JXUT. Looking forward, both institutions are eager to develop a variety of joint initiatives to enhance academic exchanges in the fields of education and research in Hong Kong and Jiangxi.
