On 23 May 2025, Mr. Kerim Sercan Evcin, Consul General of the Turkish Consulate General in Hong Kong visited The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK). He was warmly welcomed by President Simon Ho, Professor Jeanne Fu, Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience) and Dr Josiah Chan, Vice-President (Organisational Development). 

During the visit, HSUHK shared its history and development as a private, liberal-arts-oriented university. Both parties engaged in fruitful discussions, including developing partnerships with Turkish universities and initiatives to enhance cultural exchanges. HSUHK looks forward to further developing close ties with Turkey and exploring more opportunities for collaboration.
