On 14 March 2025, a delegation led by Irish International Education Center (IIEC) visited The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) and was received by Dr Ken Yau, Head of Global Affairs. The delegation was mainly made up of representatives from Irish institutions, including University College Dublin, Technological University of Shannon, Munster Technological University and Dundalk Institute of Technology who provided an overview of their respective institution to HSUHK. In reciprocal, HSUHK presented recent updates and highlights of the University. The visit concluded with discussions on potential collaboration between Ireland and Hong Kong.
