Led by Mr Dannie Cheung, Council Member, and Professor Jeanne Fu Ho-ying, Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience), a group of participants of the “HSUHK Greater Bay Area (GBA) Youth Start-up and Social Innovation Programme” curated by the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship visited Nansha on 24 October 2025. The visit aimed to foster cross-border collaboration in youth innovation and entrepreneurship within the region.  

While touring the HSUHK (Nansha) Centre, the delegation explored the Centre’s daily operations and core functions in advancing industry-academia collaboration and supporting the University’s cross-border initiatives in the GBA. A sharing session further facilitated discussions on the regional innovation landscape.

On the same day, an MoU was signed between HSUHK and the Zinchuang International Youth Community to establish a joint platform supporting youth innovation and entrepreneurship. The delegation also toured leading enterprises, including GAC Toyota and the Guangdong Academy of Aerospace Technology, gaining insights into the innovation ecosystem in Nansha.

The HSUHK Nansha Centre will continue to serve as a strategic platform to support the University in leveraging opportunities for students and staff development in the GBA, while driving youth innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives.
