Welcome to the Global Affairs Office (GAO) of HSUHK. We are excited to embark on a transformative journey of global engagement, with a strong emphasis on enhancing the competitiveness and impact of HSUHK.

At HSUHK, we recognise the importance of establishing strategic platforms and partnerships that foster synergies and drive collaboration. Our primary objective is to develop strategic partnerships worldwide, including the Greater Bay Area through the management and operation of the HSUHK (Nansha) Centre, the University’s first office in the Chinese Mainland, which was officially opened in May 2025. We also strive to expand our footprint in both developed and emerging countries in Asia, among other global destinations. All in all, GAO plays a substantial role in advancing academic partnerships and exchanges, supporting international student recruitment-related initiatives, and facilitating other collaborative opportunities across China and internationally.

Under GAO, we are dedicated to partnership development and institutional promotion. We coordinate partner visits and formulate strategic initiatives to ensure that our students derive maximum benefit from global learning experiences. Additionally, we provide comprehensive pre-arrival services and support to exchange and non-local students, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment through various activities that promote cross-cultural understanding.
