In September 2020, HSUHK is pleased to have received exchange students from Germany and Switzerland despite the COVID-19 pandemic has brought disruptions to travel and mobility worldwide. An online orientation was held to welcome exchange students on 4 September 2020. They were also assigned buddies to help them to settle and to learn the culture and traditions of Hong Kong. In the early weeks of September, they attended online classes to learn survival Cantonese. With local epidemic wave continuing to subside, they participated in a Moon Festival gathering to learn more about its customs and how to make lanterns. We wish students a fulfilling experience throughout these challenging times.
