Led by the Foshan Association for Non-Government Education, and the Affiliated School of Jinan University for Hong Kong and Macao Students (HK Office), a delegation of more than 30 secondary school principals from Foshan visited The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) on 5 January 2024, and was warmly received by Professor Jeanne Fu, Acting Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience), and Dr Ken Yau, Head of Global Affairs.
Professor Fu outlined the missions and recent achievements of HSUHK, while Ms Maggie Ng, Manager of the Registry gave an overview of undergraduate admissions at HSUHK, offering valuable insights into application procedures and different admission schemes. A non-local HSUHK student TAO Siwei, Sylvia (Bachelor of Journalism and Communication, Year 2) also shared her encounters in adapting to the new learning environment in Hong Kong.
A fruitful discussion was held on facilitating Mainland students’ pursuit of further studies in Hong Kong, encouraging academic exchanges and new education opportunities in the Greater Bay Area.
