On 23 May 2025, the Global Affairs Office (GAO) visited the Tecnológico de Monterrey (TEC), Mexico, and was received by Mr Jorge Gorozpe, Vice-Rectory for International Affairs and Director for Asia – Pacific Region International Academic Development, and Ms Monserrat Bañales, National Director of International Exchange Students.

During the meeting, Mr Jorge Gorozpe and Dr Ken Yau, Head of Global Affairs provided an overview of the current landscapes and developments in strategic partnerships and global learning at both TEC and HSUHK, initiating engaging discussions about the potential for establishing a student exchange partnership.

On the guided campus tour following the meeting, GAO representatives visited a variety of learning facilities, including the Edificio de la Rectoría (the Rectory Building), the Biblioteca (the Library), and the Rincón de Reflexión (the Reflection Corner), and were captivated by the vibrant campus, characterised by its natural charm and versatile use of space.
