



Exchange students at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) recently participated in a series of festive events, demonstrating their support for the University.
During the HSUHK 45th Anniversary Reception cum the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the HSUHK Foundation on 13 March 2025, which attracted more than 400 guests, including Legislative and District Councillors, members of the founding families, donors, business and community leaders, members of the Board of Governors and the Council as well as other important stakeholders, Anderson Yeh from BINUS University in Indonesia delivered an outstanding performance by singing the song ‘You Raise Me Up’, which enhanced the joy of the event.
Anderson shared that this opportunity offered him invaluable exposure and experience, enabling him to showcase his talent to a broader audience. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity and said, “Thank you for the opportunity from HSUHK, I am very grateful to participate in this event and it was a very wonderful experience and unforgettable moment. The atmosphere and event were fantastic, and I would like to perform in this kind of event again for HSUHK.”
In addition, exchange students from Belgium, Mainland China, and the UK came together to form a team “Running Queens” for the Wellness Relay 2025, an exciting event organised by S H Ho Wellness College to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the HSUHK Jockey Club Residential Colleges. The competition on 20 March 2025 featured a thrilling 4×1 kilometre relay, fostering a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Ultimately, “Running Queens” won the female championship!
Feriel Hadad from EPHEC University College in Belgium, one of the “Running Queens” remarked, “It is amazing to win the race, and our strong teamwork and strategy made all the difference. Although it is challenging during the race, the support from my team motivates me to push beyond my limits.”
These celebrations not only enrich the students’ exchange experience but also create lasting memories and connections with the HSUHK community.
