Led by Dr Yap Meen Sheng, Assistant Provost, a delegation from the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), Singapore visited The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) on 19 February 2025, and was received by Dr Ken Yau, Head of Global Affairs; Dr Cheung Pui Sze, Director of Student Affairs; and Dr Holly Chung, Head of Honours Academy.  

This reciprocal visit continued discussions from the HSUHK delegation visit to SUSS in January 2025 on a student exchange partnership and collaborations on student development programmes between the Honours Academy of HSUHK and the LEAD Academy of SUSS. During the meeting, Dr Yau and Dr Yap exchanged updates on the latest developments of the universities. While sharing insights on student and career development, Dr Cheung provided an overview of HSUHK’s work initiatives; and Ms Yeo Lay, Dean of Students of the Student Success Centre, along with Ms Kong Hwee Ling, Specialist & Lead (Student Leadership), Student Life; and Ms Cynthia Huang Xiaoying, Country Representative, introduced the University’s upcoming initiatives in student leadership, and invited HSUHK’s participation.

The delegation toured the HSUHK Jockey Club Residential Colleges, the Martin Ka Shing Lee Innovation Lab, the Lee Shau Kee Sport Complex, and the rooftop organic farm to sample the learning experiences of HSUHK students.
