Led by the Head of Global Affairs, an HSUHK delegation visited four universities in South Korea in July 2024 as a follow-up to prior meetings at international educational expos to foster partnerships with leading universities in Daegu, Gywangjyu, Incheon and Seoul respectively.

The HSUHK delegation received a warm welcome from the universities from 9 July to 12 July 2024 and met with the senior management of Chonnam National University, Incheon National University, Kyungpook National University and Sungshin Women’s University respectively. The visits, including campus tours, enabled further understanding between HSUHK and respective universities to foster partnerships, of which discussions were underway.

Chonnam National University and Kyungpook National University, situated in Gywangjyu and Daegu respectively, are leading comprehensive universities among the ten Flagship National Universities in Korea while Incheon National University is devoted in innovative research and global education. Sungshin Women’s University in Seoul ranked second among women’s universities in Korea in 2024.
