Led by Ms Yong Yut Ho, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Student Administration, a delegation from Taylor’s University, Malaysia visited The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) on 1 November 2023, and was warmly received by Professor Jeanne Fu, Acting Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience), Dr Brossa Wong, Registrar, Professor P C Wong, Director of Information Technology, and Dr Ken Yau, Head of Global Affairs.

The two parties had a fruitful knowledge exchange on timetabling systems and institutional data management. Dr Wong and Mr Kit Wong, Assistant Manager of the Registry introduced HSUHK’s timetabling system, while Professor Wong shared the work of the Information Technology Services Centre on student data management and data management across the University. Demonstrations have also been conducted to illustrate the systems at HSUHK.

Taylor’s University, Malaysia and HSUHK aspire to further their current partnership and explore collaborations through exchange, visits, joint academic conferences and other activities.
