Shanghai is a beautiful city, people are nice and simple. You should try to participate more activities and expand your network. It is also an international city while with some places that are historic, you will find it an interesting place.
Exchange study is really a precious experience in my life. I lived like a local and learnt the Korean cultures in first hand. Living alone in a new country is somehow difficult, but it was a great experience for me to be an independent person.
Going to a new city for more than 5 months on my own is fascinating. Except learning academic knowledge, I learnt to be independent, to take care of myself. It was a fruitful experience to explore a different culture and meet new people in a new environment.
Exchange provides you to meet more new friends and broaden your horizons. You can see how different it is between Hong Kong and Finland in terms of culture,lifestyle,food and studies. It is possible to have regrets and obstacles and you must stay positive.
My exchange experience had allowed me to discover who I am. Besides, I have become more independent and better at problem solving as there were a lot of issues that I had to face alone without others help. Overall, my exchange experience has contributed a lot to my personal growth.
