I am lucky to meet my exchange buddy from Sweden in this Buddy Programme. I have a better understanding on the culture of Sweden. My buddy and I had created memorable experience while we visited attractions in Hong Kong together.

I have learnt how to communicate with people from different countries and respect other cultures. The prospective buddies can do research about their exchange buddies, such as their culture and lifestyle.

Most of the exchange students are very independent and they won’t actively reach out to you. Prospective buddies need to be proactive. Don’t be afraid to invite them to hang out with you in campus or explore the city together.
