The Global Affairs Office visited La Trobe University, Australia, on 23 July 2026, and was hosted by Professor Amalia Di Iorio, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Educational Partnerships), and Mr Brett Smith, Learning Abroad Advisor, to review the institutions’ existing partnership and explore opportunities for further collaboration.

As current partners, HSUHK and La Trobe University exchanged updates on recent developments and discussed strengthening academic cooperation. The discussions focused on enhancing student mobility opportunities and identifying new areas of collaboration to further enrich the global learning experiences available to students from both institutions. The meeting also provided an opportunity to reaffirm the strong relationship between the two universities and their shared commitment to internationalisation.

Following the meeting, the HSUHK delegation toured La Trobe University’s Bundoora Campus to learn more about its teaching facilities and campus environment.
