From 22 to 26 June 2026, Global Affairs Office (GAO) visited our exchange partners in Singapore and Malaysia, strengthening existing partnerships and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

On 22 June, the GAO team visited Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), an HSUHK partner since 2025, and received a warm welcome from Ms Jessie Tan, Head of Partnership & Development, Experiential Learning at the College of Interdisciplinary & Experiential Learning as well as Ms Nur Hafizhah, Head of Student Life, Student Success Centre. The visit concluded with a tour of the campus, offering an opportunity to explore its facilities and learning environment.

From 23 to 25 June, the group traveled to Malaysia to participate in the UTM Student Mobility Carnival at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), a newly established partner this year. The event provided an excellent platform for HSUHK to introduce and promote its Student Exchange Programme to UTM students, while also giving the team a chance to learn more about UTM’s academic environment.

The visit concluded on 26 June at Taylor’s University (Taylor’s), a valued partner since 2015. The group was warmly welcomed by Ms Shamila Ganapaty, Acting Manager of Global Mobility at the Global Engagement Office. They enjoyed walking around the lakeside campus and experiencing the atmosphere that makes Taylor’s such a great place to study.

These visits offered a valuable opportunity for GAO to better understand our partners and to promote exchange opportunities to HSUHK students.
