Dr Ken Yau, Head of Global Affairs, together with representatives from the Global Affairs Office and the Nansha Centre, visited the Guangdong Medical Valley and Nansha IFC on 18 March 2026. The HSUHK delegation was received by Ms Emily Wong, Executive Secretary to the President of Guangdong Medical Valley Investment Management Co. Ltd., and Mr Kervin Chen, Director of Development of the Greater Bay Area Youth Innovation Centre (Nansha IFC).

Following a guided tour of the Guangdong Medical Valley, the “Library in Sky”, and multi-functional event venues, the delegations discussed strategic collaboration encompassing student entrepreneurship nurturing, innovation development, and the co-creation of showcase platforms, with a view to fostering deeper academic-industry partnership opportunities.
