On 27 February 2025, Global Affairs Office warmly received a delegation from Chonnam National University (CNU) led by Dr Min Suk Kook, Dean of External and Global Engagement with Ms Shinhye Kang, Manager of International Affairs from the Office of External and Global Engagement. 

During the visit, both universities exchanged updates from each other and shared information about their global learning programmes respectively. Following the discussions, the CNU delegation conducted a briefing session to present its upcoming summer session and student exchange programme to HSUHK students. The visit concluded with a guided tour of the HSUHK campus, providing the delegation with up-to-date introduction of the university’s facilities and the supportive learning environment available for exchange students. 

Chonnam National University (CNU) is one of the ten Flagship Korean National Universities located in South Korea. Since its establishment in 1952, CNU has been a leading centre for global education and internationalization in the region. Chonnam National University has been a partner of HSUHK since 2024.
